a collectors staff that give 15 energy? I see people talking about it. cause you could mod it with an insightful to have 20 energy.

i believe the max energy from a staff is 18.
(the quest staff with a +5 head)

No, there isn't. Collector's staves have at max 10 and don't come with energy mods.

The max you can have on the staff is 18 energy, and thats the "trapper staff" you get from a quest reward in ascalon.

"Fires in the East" quest will get you that, but its a buggy quest, some people, such as my self cant get that quest for some reason, others can, I am not sure which quest triggers this quest. Also dont confuse this with "fires in the north"

You get that quest from one of the warriors in Ascalon City after you've completed almost all of the quests in the Ascalon area.

The quest itself is right outside of Frontier Gate, sort of on the way to Surmia.
